Riding with Stiffness, Aches and Pains

...myth busting

"Age-related" stiffness, aches and pains?

Tired of feeling stiff or even achy in the saddle...or after your ride?

Most of the discomfort riders feel — whether it’s in the hips, back, shoulders, or neck — comes from soft tissue and fascia that’s been shaped by posture, habits, and movement patterns over time. When fascia becomes restricted or imbalanced, it creates tension — and tension is sensed by your nervous system as stiffness, fatigue, or pain.

Just like your horse needs balanced movement to avoid soreness, you need good alignment and mobility to ride comfortably.

When we retrain posture, release stuck fascia, and improve movement, pain often disappears — even when the MRI still shows arthritis or a disc bulge.

You’re not broken. You don’t need fixing. You need rebalancing.

In this mini course we dive deep into:

Why many common beliefs about age-related pain are outdated or flat-out wrong

Why most musculoskeletal pain is actually coming from soft tissue, not your bones or joints

The surprising role of fascia and how it affects every part of your posture and performance

How alignment issues and compensatory movement patterns sneak up on you over time

And why traditional solutions often don’t work — because they’re not addressing the real root cause

Why Take This Mini Course?

Stiffness, aches or pain make you kind of irritable...which makes it hard to be fully happy and present even when you are with your horse.

Stiffness, aches or pains make it less fun to ride.

Horses don't just mirror our emotions...they mirror our bodies.

This Mini Course Is For You, If

  • stiffness or aches make it hard to relax in the saddle and flow with your horse

  • stiffness or aches make you ride defensively and you find yourself tense and not able to relax in the saddle because your horse might…

  • stiffness or aches make it a challenge to mount or dismount

  • stiffness, aches or pain are affecting your mood, your patience and how much fun you can have in the saddle

  • stiffness, aches or pains are cutting your rides short or even keeping you out of the saddle
